The Alois and Marie Goldmann Memorial Scholarship Fund is in memory of George Freund's grandparents who were murdered at Auschwitz. The scholarship is open to an Idaho high school or home school graduate who is attending an Idaho college or university. We are promoting our second annual Write from the Heart teen writing contest. It is open to Idaho teens age 13-19 who have experienced cancer either themselves, or through a family member or friends.
This contest allows the teens to grow and connect with others through sharing their story, but it is also an opportunity for them to win awards (up to $1,000).

High school seniors and college students from the Magic Valley who are planning to attend an Idaho College or University and study in an ag related field are eligible to apply. The Chamber has given over $150,000 in scholarships to local students. Students can pick up an application at the Chamber office, or online. Deadline for Application is: December 15, 2014

Renewable full-tuition. Applicants must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American, with significant financial need. Minimum GPA: 3.3. Applications available at: www.gmsp.org. Applicants must demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities. Meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria through submission of FAFSA. In order to be eligible to be considered for the GMS scholarship, all three forms must be submitted online by Wednesday, January 14, 2015 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
LGBTQ Scholarships: is proud to offer over 50 different scholarships, $400,000 is available in scholarships for LGBTQ and straight ally student leaders. Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Application is open October thru January. Looking for high school seniors with financial need and an entrepreneurial spirit to qualify for the KFC Scholars Program. Awards are up to $20,000 for tuition, fees, textbooks, room and board. To qualify, graduating high school seniors must:
