  • Part Time Substitutes

    The Hansen School District is looking for part time substitutes to join our team for the 2019-2020 school year.   • Elementary Paraprofessional

    The Hansen School District is looking for an energetic person that is willing to provide students with daily educational support that will provide the best possible academic knowledge and skills for the student.

    The person will work in our title program working with students on reading and math at various grade levels. These are some of the qualities we look for:

  • Jr/Sr High Paraprofessional

    The Hansen School District is looking for an energetic person that is willing to provide students with daily educational support that will provide the best possible academic knowledge and skills for the student.

    The person will work with students on computer based IDLA courses as well as working in the library and helping teachers as needed in their classrooms. These are some of the qualities we look for:

  • Special Education Paraprofessional

    The Hansen School District is looking for an energetic person that is willing to provide students with daily educational and behavioral support that will provide the best possible academic knowledge and skills for the student.  Someone to help pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education according to the guidelines outlined in each student’s Individual Education Plan.

    The requirements are as follows:

    1. At least two years of collegelevel coursework, an Associate’s Degree in education or related field or a rigorous standard of quality on formal state or local assessment.  In Idaho the “rigorous formal state assessment” is the ParaPro Assessment offered by the Education Testing Service
    2. The ability to work with students with emotional, physical, and mental disabilities, ability to support students one-on-one and small group situations
    3. Demonstrated knowledge of effective behavioral methods
    4. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
    5. Work well with students, staff, and the public
    6. Excellent organizational skills
    7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    8. Able to work under deadlines
    9. Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
    10. Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and push and pull up to one hundred pounds

    Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team to teach part time Elementary Specials. The curriculum for the class will be adapted to the applicant’s strengths and abilities. Possibilities could be:

    1. Computer Technology
    2. Spanish
    3. Music
