  • Part Time Substitutes

    The Hansen School District is looking for part time substitutes to join our team for the 2021-2022 school year.   • 7-12 Language Arts Teacher

    Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a full-time 7-12 language arts teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Preference will be given to those applicants able to offer elective courses. Hansen is a small school district just ten minutes from Twin Falls and a short drive from Sun Valley.   • Title I paraprofessional

    TThe Hansen School District is looking for an energetic person willing to provide students with daily educational support that will give the best possible academic knowledge and skills for the student. The position is for a Title I paraprofessional.

    The requirements are as follows:

    • At least two years of college-level coursework, an Associate’s Degree in education or related field, or a rigorous quality standard on a formal state or local assessment. In Idaho, the “rigorous formal state assessment” is the Para-Pro Assessment offered by the Education Testing Service
    • The ability to support students in one-on-one and small group situations
    • Demonstrated knowledge of effective behavioral methods
    • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
    • Work well with students, staff, and the public
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Able to work under deadlines
    • Maintain confidentiality of staff and students

  • Elementary Aide

    The Hansen School District is looking for an energetic person that is willing to provide students with daily educational and behavioral support that will provide the best possible academic knowledge and skills for the student. Someone to help pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education according to the guidelines outlined in each student’s Individual Education Plan.

    The requirements are as follows:

    • At least two years of college‑level coursework, an Associate’s Degree in education or related field, or a rigorous standard of quality on a formal state or local assessment. In Idaho, the “rigorous formal state assessment” is the ParaPro Assessment offered by the Education Testing Service
    • The ability to work with students with emotional, physical, and mental disabilities, ability to support students in one-on-one and in small group situations
    • Demonstrated knowledge of effective behavioral methods
    • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
    • Work well with students, staff, and the public
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Able to work under deadlines
    • Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
    • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and push and pull up to one hundred pounds

  • Migrant Liaison

    Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as an aide within the migrant program and as a migrant liaison. Applicants should be adept with:

    • Technology/Using a computer
    • Possess excellent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish
    • Comfortable tutoring K-12 students in all subjects
    • Work with the district school counselor to help inform migrant students and their parents about district graduation requirements
