  • Kitchen Supervisor

    Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as the Kitchen Supervisor. Applicants should be familiar or willing to learn:

    1. Food service, nutrition, safety and sanitation standards
    2. Record Keeping
    3. Using a computer to complete online training
    4. Ability to excel in working with and leading a team of people

  • Special Education Paraprofessional

    Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a paraprofessional within the Special Education program.

    Applicants must have a Associates Degree (32 Credits) or be willing to take the Para Pro Assessment. The position requires a comfortable knowledge of academics and be willing to learn if necessary. We are looking for someone who is willing to take direction from leadership and who can follow instructions in assisting students.

  • Jr. High Boys Basketball Coach

    Hansen is looking for a Jr. High Boys' head basketball coach. The season begins in January and runs through February, but practice will start in December. Games are typically Wednesday at 4pm. Practices will be after school in either the High School Gymnasium, Elementary, or the Dome. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Lasso (jlasso@hansenschools.org.

  • Behavioral Interventionist

    The Hansen School District is looking for an energetic person that is willing to provide students with daily behavioral and mental health support that will provide the best possible academic knowledge and skills for the student. Someone to help pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education according to the guidelines outlined in each student’s Individual Education Plan.

    The requirements are as follows:

    1. Bachelor’s degree and holds a current Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) credential, or an individual who has a Bachelor’s degree or higher and was hired on or after November 1, 2010, to work as a CBRS specialist to deliver Medicaid reimbursable mental health services. Knowledge of the diverse needs of children with disabilities and appropriate special education classroom practices.
    2. The ability to work with students with emotional, physical, and mental disabilities, ability to support students one-on-one and small group situations
    3. Demonstrated knowledge of effective behavioral methods
    4. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
    5. Work well with students, staff, and the public
    6. Excellent organizational skills
    7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    8. Able to work under deadlines
    9. Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
    10. Ability to lift up to forty pounds and push and pull up to one hundred pounds

  • Gear Up Coordinator

    Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as the Gear Up Coordinator.

    The GEAR UP site coordinator will:

    1. Orient parents, students, faculty and staff to GEAR UP and raise awareness of the benefits of postsecondary education among school personnel, parents, and the community at large
    2. Serve as a college planning resource for teachers, educators, counselors and parents.
    3. Recruit, train and maintain a GEAR UP school site team and mentoring team.
    4. Develop, implement and/or enhance parent workshops.
    5. Coordinate academic year college visits for students.
    6. Develop and implement comprehensive pre-college programs for middle and high school students that include career exploration, academic planning and preparation, and financial planning.
    7. Coordinate or perform annual planning sessions with GEAR UP students.
    8. Work cooperatively with educators to provide enrichment activities that include job-shadowing, college visits, etc.
    9. Manage data collection and entry from schools and provide continuous feedback to the GEAR UP state staff and school officials regarding project benchmarks and outcomes.
    10. Collect rosters from each event listing students and families served.
    11. Submit monthly invoices, receipts, logs and reporting documents to GEAR UP Idaho state staff.
    12. Develop and maintain an annual program plan.
    13. Attend mandatory state or national professional development or training events.
    14. Plan and coordinator professional development for school staff.
    15. Support GEAR UP state initiatives through coordinating school activities, providing planning assistance or acting as a chaperone.
    16. Serve as a mentor and positive role model for GEAR UP students; encourage students in the eligible cohorts to participate in GEAR UP activities.
    17. Work to expand capacity for college access in the school and community.
    18. Prioritize compliance on all GEAR UP state and federal regulations.

    This position will be paid on a stipend basis.
