Part-Time Speech Pathologist (possibility of full-time work)

We are looking for a highly dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist who will bring a "whatever it takes" attitude to helping children succeed. The position is part-time, with the possibility of full-time.

The HSD Speech and Language Pathologist delivers effective, high-quality, data-driven interventions. HSD staff approach works with a sense of possibility and sees challenges as opportunities for creative problem-solving. HSD gives its students an intensive foundation in the core academic subjects, emphasizing developing the knowledge and skills necessary for success in school and life. Title I Paraprofessional

The Hansen School District is looking for an energetic person willing to provide students with daily educational support that will give the student the best possible academic knowledge and skills.  The position is for a Title I paraprofessional.

The requirements are as follows:  
·         At least two years of college-level coursework, an Associate’s Degree in education or a related field, or a rigorous quality standard on a formal state or local assessment.  In Idaho, the “rigorous formal state assessment” is the Para-Pro Assessment offered by the Education Testing Service
·         The ability to support students in one-on-one and small-group situations.
·         Demonstrated knowledge of effective behavioral methods.
·         Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
·         Work well with students, staff, and the public.
·         Excellent organizational skills.
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
·         Able to work under deadlines.
·         Maintain confidentiality of staff and students

Migrant Paraprofessional

Hansen School District is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as an aide within the migrant program. The successful applicant will serve students in the Valley School District.

Applicants should be adept with the following:
1.    technology/using a compute
2.    possess excellent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish
3.    be comfortable tutoring K-12 students in all subjects
4.    work with the district school counselor to help inform migrant students and their parents about district graduation requirements
