Welcome to the Hansen School District. We are a progressive rural school district serving approximately 350 students in grades PreK-12. The district boasts excellent instructional staff and up to date technology. Through aggressive grant writing, we have been able to supplement our curriculum and resources to allow teachers to be creative in meeting the needs of our students. The grants we were awarded last year include the Idaho School Improvement Grant, Monsanto, STEM, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and the I3 Scale Up Writing.
We value parents input and invite you to visit the school, call your child’s teacher or principal, attend Board meetings and athletic activities and in general be a part of our community.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of Hansen School District No. 415, Twin Falls County Idaho, will be held on June 21, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the Hansen High School Library or via virtual through Zoom, at which meeting there shall be a public hearing on the amended 2020-21 school budget and proposed 2021-2022 school budget. Meeting information will be posted on the Hansen School District website at www.hansenschools.org.
A copy of the amended and proposed budgets as determined by the Board of Trustees is available for public inspection at the School District Office at 550 Main Street South, Hansen, Idaho between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday – Thursday from the date of this notice until the date of the hearing or on our district website at www.hansenschools.org. This budget hearing is called pursuant to Section 33-801, Idaho Code as amended.
Hansen School District No. 415
According to school board policy, the Hansen School District #415 hereby gives notice that special education records are no longer needed to provide educational services to individuals with disabilities who were enrolled in the district as a student prior to the year 2016 and have since left the district. Where allowed, the district will destroy these special education records in 45 days. Destruction of these records is the best protection against improper and unauthorized disclosure.
Please be aware that if you have special education records on file with the school district, these records may be needed for social security benefits or for other purposes in the future.

The district operates on a 4 day school week, with office hours Monday- Thursday 8:00-5:00. The school office hours are Monday- Thursday 7:45- 4:15. Please stop in and see us anytime. Visitors must sign in at the offices before gaining entrance to any classrooms, hallways, or other school grounds. Visitors will be given a badge to wear while on campus, and are expected to check out at the office before departing. All school buildings are to remain secure throughout the day. Safety is a top priority at Hansen School District, please help us maintain our security!
