Hansen Jr/Sr High School Pathways
Localized pathways serve as a structured yet flexible framework designed to connect students’ high school experiences with their post-secondary goals. As outlined in our policy (2700P), each pathway identifies a sequence of locally provided offerings including core and elective coursework, assessments, and extended learning opportunities that are intentionally aligned to desired post-secondary outcomes.
At Hansen Jr/Sr High School, we have established four primary pathways: Agriculture, Business, STEM, and General College. These pathways provide students with clarity and direction as they begin to explore their interests and future aspirations.

Once a student identifies a pathway, it serves as a guide for planning and ongoing conversations, helping align course selection and experiences such as career exploration, leadership, and dual credit with their long-term goals. Rather than limiting options, localized pathways promote informed decision-making, increased engagement, and create a more purposeful high school experience, ensuring students graduate with both direction and the skills needed for post-secondary success.
