To the Veterans of Hansen and their families,
Hansen Schools are excited to invite you to a community Veterans Day celebration happening
on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 in the Hansen High School Gymnasium. For our celebration
of Veterans Day, we welcome you, and your families to join our student body as we post our
nation’s colors, hear from a keynote speaker about the importance of honoring Veterans Day,
listen to patriotic songs performed by our Elementary students, and see slides of Veterans who
have impacted our community, teachers and students. We would like to say thank you for your
service to our country and hope to celebrate with you this Veterans Day.
The details are as follows:
8:00 - 8:25 am Breakfast provided by the Hansen FFA Chapter
8:25 am: Seating in the Gym
8:30 - 9:30 am Veterans Day Assembly and Celebration
As part of our program this year, we are collecting pictures of Veterans that we would like to
show in a video slideshow. The photos for the slideshow can be emailed to
studentcouncil@hansenschools.org, or brought to the main high school office where we can
scan a copy and get the picture right back to you. We hope to include a photo of all Hansen
Veterans as a way to show our appreciation for their service. Please RSVP for breakfast by
calling 208-423-5593 or emailing studentcouncil@hansenschools.org by November 1st.
