Congratulations to Junior Mendoza and James Kersey for competing in the finals of the men's shot put at the forty-fourth annual Simplot Games in Idaho State University's ICCU (formerly Holt Arena) Dome. Both young men qualified for the finals with a put of forty-six feet. Junior placed twentieth, and James placed tenth overall in a field of eighty-two competitors. Athletes traveled from as far away as Australia for the event!
