The Hansen teaching staff spent June 16 and 17 learning from Breez Daniels, a Solution Tree associate for Professional Learning Communities at Work. Serving for eleven years as a principal, Breez was named Wyoming Elementary/Middle Schools Principal of the Year, a National Distinguished Principal in 2016–2017, and the Wyoming Secondary Schools Principal of the Year in 2020. She is an advocate for preparing small and rural school students for the academic rigor of college, career-technical, and military readiness, and she believes teachers are the crucial factor in student success.
Throughout the two days, teachers spent time creating pacing guides for a guaranteed and viable curriculum for the upcoming school year.
