Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to announce that beginning 2026/2027 school year, Hansen School District will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. Through CEP, all students enrolled in our district schools will be able to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost each school day.
This program helps ensure that every student has access to nutritious meals that support learning, growth, and success in the classroom.
What this means for families:
• All enrolled students may receive one breakfast and one lunch each school day free of charge.
• Families will no longer need to complete a traditional free and reduced meal application for meal benefits.
• Students are encouraged to participate in school meals daily.
Please note:
• Extra milk, second meals, and à la carte items will still require payment.
• Additional household forms may still be requested by the district for educational funding and program purposes.
