Several lunch accounts are past due and have not received any payments in a few months. We kindly ask that all outstanding balances be taken care of before Christmas break. We appreciate your cooperation. As always if you need any help or have questions please don't hesitate to reach out to me. crosa@hansenschools.org

STEAM night 2025

During the last school year, we applied for—and were awarded—the GEAR UP Grant. This grant is designed to increase participation in post-secondary training and education programs for the Class of 2031 (current 7th graders) and the Class of 2032 (current 6th graders). While certain activities will be targeted specifically toward the student cohort included in the grant, many of the programs, events, and opportunities funded through GEAR UP will benefit all students in our junior/senior high school.

Come support the vendors tomorrow from 10-2

Just wanted to send a reminder that our thanksgiving dinner will be this Wednesday. Prices for adults and children not attending school is 5.35. You may also prepay by sending money in an envelope to school. This cuts down on confusion in the line and having to scramble for change.
Looking forward to sharing this day with the students families. Have a great weekend
This may look like a common, crafty egg drop project, but this is no ordinary Egg Drop Challenge! Freshmen are flexing their "Think Like a Scientist" muscles by learning and working through the Engineering Design Process all while thinking about the question - How can I reduce forces in a collision? They are pretty familiar with how seatbelts work, but applying Newton's Laws of Motion and the Law of Conservation of Momentum to a new problem is exciting! This project hits five high school science standards, six cross cutting concepts, and eight science & engineering practices! And these students were ALL IN!!!

Shout out to Idaho Power for their support of students in our FFA program!

Today, the Hansen School District was honored to host our annual Veterans Day Assembly. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended and helped make this event special. Most importantly, we thank our veterans for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. Your courage inspires us all—today and every day. ❤️🤍💙

The district has a food pantry that is located in the elementary. Please feel free to stop by the elementary office (7:30-4:30) and we will help you fill a box. Chobani donated yogurt, Monterey Jack's donated bread, and we have a lot of other options on the shelves.
