These guys went to the ISU Rocky Mountain Shootout welding contest this week. They got to perform some advanced welds and get a tour of the Welding, Diesel, Auto Tech, Aircraft Maintenance and Nuclear Operations programs. Carson had a great day placing 12th overall and getting a 99/100 on his 10 pass V-Groove. The team placed 14th overall.

From Mrs. Evans: Two chapters, 63 students (some not pictured), 11 State Degrees, 2 District Star Candidates, 1 Delegate Committee Chair, 2 State Talent Participants, 1 National Chapter Recognition, 1 proficiency in Diversified Livestock Production, 13 teams or individuals competing - Three 4th place contests (conduct, poultry, co-op quiz), two 5th place (poultry, Parli), one 8th place (floral), one 1st place (scrapbook)
Students holding each other to high standards of behavior and professionalism, cheering for the success of other chapters and making friends and memories that will last a lifetimem. All while learning about careers and opportunities in the Ag industry and setting future goals for both Chapters success. What a great week!
My husband and I sure are lucky we get to teach in such outstanding schools and communities who support us in helping these students reach their full potential and see they are capable of doing big things! Between our students and fellow Advisors, Justin has some pretty great role models to look up to.
Hansen would also like to extend a warm congratulations to Mrs. Evans on earning her Honorary State FFA Degree, and for being recognized as the next SMVD district advisor!

Congratulations to Zachary on signing with McPherson College in Kansas to continue his football career.
Today is a great example of what makes our school special. Moments like this reflect not only individual achievement, but the strength of our school culture, the pride of our community, and the commitment our students bring each day.
Zachary has demonstrated tremendous hard work, discipline, and dedication throughout his high school football career, while also serving as a model student in the classroom. He represents what it truly means to be a Hansen Husky.

At the elementary, our March PBIS was schoolwide and students could pay ten Husky Bucks to participate in an egg hunt. (Thank you Brina Robinson for donating eggs!)
