Today, August 30, the football game against Watersprings has been canceled due to air quality.
This year we are celebrating the seniors' journey with a senior spotlight! Each week we will provide a new update on our senior spotlight. This week help us celebrate the hard work, long hours, and commitment our seniors have put forth towards their senior project. 8 students have already completed their 30-hour project! We are all so proud and can't wait to see more senior projects get completed. Keep up the great work, seniors!

At Hansen Junior and Senior High School we are excited to honor our "Staff Member of the Month" as part of our commitment to celebrating excellence. Each month, we focus on a belief statement that guides our actions throughout the year.
This month's belief statement is: all students can learn. Mike, Patti, Angelica, and Jenny were chosen as they dedicate themselves to making sure our school is prepared for teachers and students to return to a supportive environment where learning and growth can take place. Their dedication and hard work make it possible for teachers to ensure learning for all students. We are proud to have them as part of our team, grateful for their commitment, and want to celebrate our appreciation for all they do!
Elementary information
If you did not get into register, tomorrow is the last day! We will be here from 7:30-4:30 for any grade. You can ONLY make schedule changes at registration. We will not be doing schedule changes on the first two days of school.
Cross Country will have the first practice 8/12 7PM on football field.
The first practice for junior high volleyball will be Monday, August 12, from 430-6 at the elementary gym. If you are interested and a 6th-8th grader, we will see you there!
High School football team will be having a parent meeting on Thursday, Aug 8th, at 6:30pm. The meeting will take place in the gymnasium.
Good morning Juniors and Seniors,
I need your help! Right now Physics- an awesome class taught by Mrs. Schulze- only has 1 student registered. I need to move 4 students into this class OR if we have more interest in Chemistry I'm looking for 5 students to take that class. These are both great opportunities. Please come by, email Tiff or me, or give the school a call to get your class scheduled.

You can get your design approved in the front office starting Monday Aug 5th through registration. If you would like to email your design in for approval, email scarter@hansenschools.org
